Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish! We don't play the major role. If we did, we'd probably go around bragging that we'd done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.

A Great Week

Wow, what a week! We had a great time with our friends from our home church in Washington. They arrived last Saturday and left this morning. The guys got the siding on the house done and a good portion of the deck. I can't wait to get the deck finished. We're currently using a ladder as a step so we don't have to walk all the way around the house:)

It's kinda funny. The guys pulled off the trim and took the existing porches off and seemed to tweak the house. Doors that used to close, now hit on the bottom, about 1/4 inch. And doors that used to stick, now close without a problem. It's almost like the porches and trim were holding the house up:( I guess now we need to figure out how to level our house. Butch is going to go make sure the blocks it is standing on are stable. It sure would be a bummer to have it fall off the blocks right after they put new siding on it. Ahhhh...the life of living in an old 1977 mobile home.

The ladies helped me paint the inside and rearrange my furniture. I love the colors and the new layout of my living room. For those of you who have been here, we moved the hutch to the wall by the master bedroom and moved the TV, (YAY!!! No more tripping over the TV cable:) It's amazing how much more room I seem to have. It looks fresh and very up to date. Yes, you can still tell it is paneling, but it is not boring tan anymore, or whatever color it was.

We finally toured the mine yesterday. It is a lot bigger when you are up there than it seems from Hadley! We got to see a blast. That's always cool, seeing things blown up:) Our kids were bummed because we didn't let them skip school and go with us. They'll get over it.

On another note...check out Nate and Tricia's blog, http://cfhusband.blogspot.com Tricia recieved her new lungs and is recovering. They need your prayers now, more than ever.

I'll post pictures soon. They are Butch's computer so I need to transfer them to mine.

Have a blessed week,
Jen
