Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish! We don't play the major role. If we did, we'd probably go around bragging that we'd done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.

Pictures of House

One of these days I'll have the pictures ready when I post the updates:)

Here are the bathroom pictures and a picture of our new porch. Now we just have to get the house painted and it will look great!

The color is blue with Sea Salt (white) Trim and doors. Instead of a new tub surrond we used vinyl panels. Instead of sheetrocking over the old paneling we used a beadboard paneling and painted it blue. Now we just have to do the floor. We came through Fallon too late to get a piece of linoleum when we got the rest of the materials for the bathroom. We plan to pick that up Monday. So for now it is a nice fresh, updated bathroom with 70's yellow lino.

Butch started the deck while our LTCC friends were here and got it finshed shortly after they left. I stained it while he was doing the bathroom. When we redo the roof of the house, we are going to put a partial roof over the deck as well, maybe over the whole thing. Once we paint the house, probably next week after we go to Fallon, I'll post new pics.

This and That said...

Love the deck - it looks great with the railing on and the new stain! Is that an old cooler you have used as a planter? I like that! I'll have to show Dave that I am not the only one who looks at unconventional containers and see a planter! The bathroom looks like a whole new room! Guess that leak was a blessing in disguise! Thanks for sharing the pics!
